Worrying news about climate change

Scientists: Global warming has already changed ocean "In
Washington state , oysters in some areas haven't

that the increasing acidity of the ocean could be the cause"

AGE's partial solution
- Save the trees to absorb the CO2 .
Save the trees ... you save
the insects, animals, rivers, oceans etc

To all
Environmentalist... save the trees. The subject
of global warming is very controversial today and nations
have been called upon to reduce carbon usage.
Whatever the causes of global warming, another more
important aspect is the loss of greens on our planet where
insects, animals etc live. Trees would give rise to rivers
where fish live require constant flow of water instead of
barren land unable to retain moisture in the land. Trees
are the mothers of all environmental safeguards.
Reduce the use
of paper
There are many ways to save the trees. Many would start to
plant new trees. Others pay to others to plant new trees.
Then we have those who would recycle papers to reduce the
need to chop down more trees.
While we appreciate the importance of such efforts, we feel
that the better way is to NOT TO USE paper at all in
the first place! The land fills would not be so full of
papers that produce more methane into the atmosphere. The
pressure to cut down trees would be minimised.
How then can we reduce the use of paper?
Students are most prolific users of papers. It is common
knowledge students today (except for the really rural chaps)
can hardly avoid using massive amount of papers in their
daily, weekly and monthly activities. Everywhere they use
papers for text books, exercises, projects and even scribble
as rough papers.
AGE reduces papers in classrooms
AGE's complete range of simple software tools aim to reduce
drastically the use of paper in tests/homework and normal
class work by providing rural/urban schools with tools and
contents that can reached al,l irrespective of the locality
and remoteness.
This would enable universal implementation of ICT in mass
education a success where urban and rural areas CAN USE
THE SAME materials. This would ensure uniformity and
ease of implementing ICT in mass Education and ensuring
massive participation by students all over the
country/world. Our aim will be achieved and we can happily
sleep soundly knowing that we have contributed to the
world's green efforts
(without having
to walk to work :>) ).
AGE dispenses with text books and printed homework
If each child is to save 3 reams of papers per year,
participation among the world's students would have
tremendous impact on the trees automatically.
AGE's animated multimedia modules are so small it's
unbelievable Can reach
anywhere on earth in seconds or minutes with a simple low
speed dialup.
Seconds of
downloads , hours/days of animated usage and run offline

Impossible?
